One square meter of felt
A strip of felt 6 inches wide, at least 2 feet long
Scissors

Step 6
Grab the back of the hat basically where the strip was sewed together. Roll the back add towards the inside of the hat. Sew into place.

Step 7
Roll both sides together. The top of the that should look like a triangle. This is a tricornered pirate hat. Sew into place.Rock with red bandana and pirate gear.

October 4th, 2012

How to make plush pumpkins

You will need:
Fabric of your choice
Matching felt
Matching thread
Needle
Polyfill stuffing

Making a plush pumpkin a simple basically all you have to do is cut out rectangle. The longer the rectangle the fatter the pumpkin. Sew the two ends of the rectangle together  making a cylinder and then use needle and thread to pull the two ends closed, gathering them. Stuff with polyfill. Take a needle and pull the gathered ends into the center of a cylinder. Using a very long thread pumpkin sections on the cylinder always coming back to the center. You should have about 6 sections. Cut a stem from the felt. Sew the pieces together and stuff. Attached to the top of pumpkin. Enjoy the holiday.

Day 187 - Last Year's Pumpkins!

October 3rd, 2012

I really love jack Skellington. He is one of my favorite characters of all time. Last year I decided to make a little mister pumpkin head of my own. Here are a few pictures of what I came up with. To do this yourself all you need is a small oval shaped pumpkin. You know more  flat than it is tall. I suggest using a very small knife I've got a quickie cut from pampered Chef. It works really well, very sharp but with a short blade. I just use the picture that I got online as a reference I've been used a marker made a few drawings . That's it that's all I got, hope you enjoy the pumpkins.

Day 186 - Pirates

October 2nd, 2012
How to dress like a pirate.

Here we have a few little stegs excited for Halloween but have no costumes. What are they to do?

Dress like pirates. To dress like a pirate you need a pirate hat, pirate shirt, sword, sash, patch and a coat. A parrot wouldn't hurt either.

And with all that on they are ready for night a trick or treating. Oh and don't forget your bag for booty.

Day 185 - HALLOWE'EN

October 1st, 2012

Welcome Crafter's to a Month of All That is Hallowe'en!!!

You can look forward to a month full of spooks, goblins, ghouls, witches, warlocks and vampires galore. Plus the occasional dressed up stuffed penguin. Only problem, my posts are going to be a little shorter, mostly pictures, for the next 6 weeks. Cause I broke my right arm and lo and behold, I'm right handed.  Now, I will keep posting, but as I said, shorter.  Mostly because my best friend is currently typing this and hopefully *ahem* will continue typing for me.  :)  So, you have a lot to look forward to and we'll get starting today with this cute penguin picture, as he is now prepared for Hallowe'en!  Enjoy!

Good Looking Fellow Eh?
