Searching for the perfect night sky

        My bear stocking is finished, perse. But the background is white. I want to do a night sky. Only problem is that there is black lettering. if I use  floss that is too dark the lettering, which is a dark brown, will not show. Which will obviously defeat the purpose. So I am looking for a dark but not too dark blue. Blah. I picked up two different shades of blue but neither seems to work. I guess I should actually bring the stocking to match it up eh? I thought I had a better eye for colour. Oh well I guess I will just have to bring swatches to the craft stores.
