Day 204 - Sugar Skulls

Sugar Skulls

        Or Calavera, which is Spanish for "skull", a symbol of the Mexican Day of the Dead. They are gifts for the dead as well as the living. They are often placed on alters as offering. They are suppose to be joyful, vibrant in colour, part of the celebration of life and remembrance of those who have died.
