25 years....
I have had this specific jar of buttons for the last 25 years. Now remember I have been crafting since I was very young. Most of these buttons came from my Grandmother. Every time she found a stray or took them off a garment that could not be saved she would add them to my jar. Over the years I have used all the buttons that I am going to, singles, broken and unsuitable buttons are the only ones left. So today I emptied the jar.
